Reads, writes, listens to music, watches films, and takes photographs.
She grew up during Ankara’s smokiest days. She completed her studies in Ankara, majoring in business administration. Later, she chose Istanbul for living and working. She worked in the field of corporate training for many years.
After attending a basic photography course, she collaborated with a group to create project-based photography works. She traveled extensively across Turkey, visiting and photographing many cities and villages. She participated in various group exhibitions.
In recent years, she has gravitated toward conceptual photography. She participated in the Thoughtful Dialogues workshop (facilitated by Arzu Arbak) and contributed to a book project titled ğ-ibi. A selection of the photographs from this book was exhibited in November 2023 at Robinson Crusoe Bookstore.
her photographs were showcased in the group exhibition “Fractured Texture” (facilitated by Arzu Arbak), held at Barın Han from November 16 to December 21, 2024.
At the 14th Bursa International Photography Festival (Bursa Fotofest), her works were featured in the Open Call exhibition themed urban defıance.
In general, she photographs streets, coincidences, striking distortions, ironic situations, moments that move her, and sometimes beauty.
She views photography as a powerful medium for self-expression and healing, as well as a long-term journey.
